Director for the film, Juan Salas, is a Ft.Worth native who is a former graduate of The Art Institute of Dallas. Salas got his start in film producing and directing music videos
for musical legends such as Bun B, Paul Wall & Rick Ross. Venturing into independent filmmaking, Salas has become a 9x award-winning director whose work has been featured in prominent festivals including: The Detroit Trinity International Film Festival and The Los Angeles International Film Festival Awards. Salas recently won the best documentary award at FESTIGOUS for “Mr.Lee: 20 years of Power” which chronicles the Life of Legendary RAP-A-LOT producer Leroy Williams Jr. and his work with PIMP C and the late Nipsey Hussle
