Andrew Sherman has spent decades immersed in the world of music — behind the lens, behind the mic, and in the thick of the scene itself. He has photographed artists ranging from Sting and Paul McCartney to the local bands you haven't heard of yet but soon will.
Andrew spent much of his adult life in Los Angeles pursuing music and acting, including a stint as part of Andy Dick and the Bitches of the Century, the eclectic project led by its notorious namesake. In 2016, he enrolled in video editing classes at community college and landed a gig editing the Chevy Music Showcase — an experience that introduced him not only to the craft of post-production, but to the vibrant Texas music scene waiting just outside his frame.

He shoots for some of Dallas–Fort Worth's most iconic stages, including the Longhorn Ballroom, Echo Lounge, American Airlines Center, House of Blues, Legacy Hall, Epic Central, and the Winspear Opera House. He is also a regular contributor to the Dallas Observer and founded Last Nite Live, his own online magazine dedicated to showcasing live concert photography and the photographers who capture it.
His work has earned significant recognition. The Dallas Morning News named him Readers' Choice Best Photographer in 2023. The Dallas Famous Podcast has taken home Best Podcast at the Dallas Entertainment Awards three consecutive years running — 20… Read More
